 All adults participating in Scouting must complete:
  1.  BSA Youth Protection Training (YPT; online, self-paced)
  2. California AB506 mandated reporter training (online, self-paced)
  3. Background check and LiveScan fingerprinting

Troop 1 Registration
Troop 1 is a gender-inclusive scouting community and welcomes all youth ages 11 to 17. 

FEE SCHEDULE

  • $100 annual Troop 1 dues per youth, payable in august at the start of each school year. Zelle: [email protected].
  • $85 annual Piedmont Scouts BSA Council dues, paid online through my.scouting.org.
  • Optional: $15 annual Scout's Life magazine​

Friends of scouting

Donate to Friends of Scouting
FOS donations fund approximately 20% of the Piedmont Council budget. All troop and packs depend on the council for training unit leaders, running the Trading Post, Highlander Hikes, Camporee, Pinewood Derby, etc. We rely on troop support to keep our council small.
​$300 donation per family is requested, but the council happily accepts any donation that fits your budget.
