 All adults participating in Scouting must complete:
  1.  BSA Youth Protection Training (YPT; online, self-paced)
  2. California AB506 mandated reporter training (online, self-paced)
  3. Background check and LiveScan fingerprinting

Troop 1 is a gender-inclusive scouting community and welcomes all youth ages 11 to 17. For registration purposes, the Scouts BSA organization requires youth to register as either boys or girls. Please choose one of the registration links above.

FEE SCHEDULE

  • $120 annual Troop 1 dues per youth, payable at the start of the school year. Includes annual Piedmont Council registration fee.
  • For first-year Scouts only: $85 Piedmont Scouts BSA Council registration fee payable directly to the Council whenever you submit your application.
  • Optional: $15 annual subscription to Scouts Life magazine​
