Troop 1 is for everyone

We welcome youth of all genders ages 11 to 17 who live in the local community. You do not have to live or attend school in Piedmont to join Troop 1.

WHAT WE DO

Troop 1 is built around the core tenets of Scouting:
  1. Get outdoors: We plan monthly overnight and day-long hikes, outings, and service projects in the wider Bay Area
  2. Youth leadership: Youth actively shape all aspects of their Scouting experience in a safe, positive environment, with adults in a supporting role
  3. Scout law and values: Scouting fosters respect for others, curiosity, resilience, personal integrity, a love of the outdoors, physical fitness, leadership skills -- and builds friendships for life!

WHERE TO FIND US

Come to a meeting and learn more! We meet weekly on Tuesdays from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Kettlewell Room at the Piedmont Community Church.
